Alright I have really been wanting to lower my car for a while now. I have decided on H&R springs. I found a set for $250. However, every place I check the charge for installation is around $375.

Does everyone on here pay around $625 dollars for a 2" difference in height? I really want it done as I have 18" RS4 reps and the stock non-sport suspension. I think it would look a whole lot better but I have a really hard time shelling out that kind of cash for a 2" difference. I know my buddies would just fall over backwards if they new I blew that much money on such a change.

What you do you guys think? Is it worth it?

 

i got the H&R sports and grooved Bilstein shocks....yes it's mos def worth it!!

 

If your buddies are suspension savy, then just get the parts and have them help you install it.

do you have a picture? I'm kinda in the same boat as you. When my tires wear out, i'd like to replace my stock wheels with 17's or 18's, and i don't really have the cash to get the springs right away. Everyone says it looks like a monster truck, but yeah, i'm curious what they look like w/o the sport suspension.
