Rear ABS sensor - different types interchangeable?

While doing a rear wheel bearing on my daughter's 2000 A4, I broke the abs sensor (actually it was rusted in-place and I couldn't get it to budge). Ordered a new replacement - part #8D0 927 807 C - and it's slightly different than the one I removed. The old one had a flat metal mounting plate with a hole which was secured with an allen-head bolt. The new one appears to friction fit, no bolt hole. Are these interchangeable, or did I get the wrong sensor?

I'd call your local Audi Dealer and ask them, It'd probably be easier, and quicker than waiting for someone to answer on here...

Most likely you got the wrong sensor. There are both types on audis and i dont think they are interchangable.

Thanks for the advice. I checked and the part number is correct. I'm thinking maybe it was repackaged or something.
