On the 00 A4 B5, are the rear Audi rings screwed into place or just "stuck" with adhesive???

is the paint/metal trunk lid still flush underneath the ring though??? The reason I'm asking is because my rings are so close to the paint surface that it doesn't even look like there's room for adhesive.

Ew dont remove the rings on the back, thats part of your identity. I can see taking off the 1.8T or A4 badge, but the rings are different. Its like how swimmers shave their legs, not their eye brows.
