does anyone know where i can get some directions to remove the rear bumper cover? i havnt even started the project and its a pain already

Did you ever find an answer to your question? I'm getting ready to change my bumper cover. The only advice I can give (other than a manual) would be to talk to someone at a shop or tow hitch installer. I got a hitch installed on my A4, and the shop told me they had to remove the bumper cover to get full access to the area they were working on.
