Default rear lip spoiler

i just received my lip spoiler. i got it on ebay and when i got it it wasn't solid plastic as i assumed. it is some sort of rubber (not quite sure what it is) but it bends, it still looks nice and just the same. it didn't say that it was like that on the ebay posting.
anybody have experience with installing one?
--thanks

Does it come prepainted and with the adhesive strip(s) at the bottom? If it isn't painted remember you'll have to use an adhesive promoter before priming. Also, use a bug/tar/grease remover on the rear deck so it'll stick properly.

Just clean the surface real good with the degreaser, you could also use a claybar but that might be a bit too much.

i have the same lip spoiler from ebay..definitely looks very nice..and just like you, i thought it would be hard..make sure you have someone else with you who can give you a second opinion as to if its centered or not..just clean the surface with like windex, its fine

Its easy to do, you need 2 ppl yur prob gonna hav about a 1/8 gap at either end of th trunk all you do is go real slow around the lip of the trunk and use your thumb to guide it, clean really well and have the wextra person pull off the adhesiove tape, its easy i did it this weekend. Jsut htink about it nice addition to the trunk.

Got one from Ebay too. Looks great and cannot beat the price! I cleaned the trunk with rubbing alcohol prior to sticking it on. No problems.
