Default Rear speakers

Hey guys
Im new to the a4 scene. I purchased the car and for some reason the rear speakers don't work. I did notice a blue connector hanging down from the drivers side one and not sure where it connects 2. Also there is no cd changer which most a4's seem to have. Can anyone advise me on what I can try to get them working.

i dont know if it is the same in the other year audi's but in my b5 the rear drivers side speaker on the deck above the seathas a built in amp that powers the rear speakers. if that amp is blown the rear speakers dont play but everthing else does. this happened in my car. from the research ive done you have to replace that rear drivers side speaker with the amp on it and it should work.

I was sitting in the same spot a little while ago. I have no clue how it was done, but the previous owner managed to bust the amp off the speaker, but not entirely. So for a while, I just had the amp just chillin and swingin aroundin the trunk lol. Finally replaced it, and it sounds great now. Not sure exactly what's wrong with yours, but on mine, the wire leading from the amplifier into the cone of the speaker, got ripped out somehow. If that's the case, keep in mind I'm no electonics specialist, you're gonna have to replace it.

Guessing non bose because there are no bose emblems. The Rear speakers have the audi emblem on them. The wire with the connector goes about 3 inches and just dangles down. I will take a picture and post it hopefully you guys can help me out with this! Thanks Guys

If so, that's the cd changer plug.
