Rear Wash Wipe

Hi there!

I have an Audi A4 Estate and the Rear Washer does not work.

I have confirmed that the Pump definitely pumps water.

I have confirmed that there is no water being delivered to the wiper assembly on the rear door.

I can confirm that water disappears from the washer bottle when the pump is in operation.

This means that the Washer pipe has been disconnected somewhere and the Washer fluid is flooding the interior of the car!!! :-(

However, I cant see where this is happening, I have found no wet patches or puddles under the car.

Can anyone confirm the routing of the Rear Washer pipe so that I can trace it back? Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

Stuart

the pipe runs to the rear door where the hinges are and its not uncommon for the pipe to break there with use

Also check by the drivers dead pedal. Ive seen it come loose there and it wont show on the carpet.

Thanks for that. Would that be on a Right Hand Drive car? I am assuming you're a Left Hand Driver?

Cheers,

Indeed. For a right hand drive i would assume they run it in a similar location. Not really sure which side thou. I would image the entire car would be a mirror image or close to it, so that would put the hose near the gas pedal.
