Whats Up Fella's Well ok Do you remember the post about the red hot turbo well it was really about my car (1.8t Q) And I was Having A heart Attack On the side of the highway and wasn't able to get onlineso i had a friend ask you guys but I found out it was just the cat came disconnected from that flange well i got it weilded back on now my turbo is super loud when its spools up any ideas of what happen ? Oh and by the way its bone stock

where did it become detatched? directly off the turbo? this determines the bad effects

it came detached right where the cat attach to the turbo assembly
thgey couldn't weild all the way around so they just weilded the top im pretty sure thats where the leak is it dosent sound bad it really sounds good but i dont want any problems

yeah thats a problem. doesnt need to be fixed soon but eventually the heat that is escaping will melt the weld and it will fall off again

this is bad b/c fire shoots out of the exhasut. and it will burn a hole in your passenger compartment. this makes for very unhappy travelers
