Default Red Lights on the moonroof control panel?

What are these two red lights on my moon roof control panel? Just forward of the map lights. Only on when the headlights are on.

2007 A4 CVT

No no no no. You're all wrong. They're German made brainwash beams that they are using to take over the world... or heat lamps

Nah, you're all wrong! They are infrared heaters to warm the cabin air, making the car lighter so the massive 3200lbs of weight doesn't seem so heavy.

Actually, if you have a manual trans and you put the shifter in neutral, the little diagram on the shifter reflects it hardcore awsome.

They help you see your hands as they approach the control panel for improved coordination/efficiency.

I did not know that an A4 weighs 3200 lbs. And I've read my owner's manual about 5 times already!! (actually HOPING to discover something I didn't know about my car..., which I have done a few times, but I'm pretty sure I've covered it all by now). But somehow, I neither learned nor inquired about the vehicle weight...

Hmmmnnnn.....
