Default reduce understeer?

so today i ran with two of my friends (both with audi 90 CS) around some twisties. good corners, good speed. However, i noticed that my tires protested quite a bit, but that is to be expected with a heavy a4. more importantly, what i also noticed is that i have really bad understeer. what can i do to reduce that, maybe even promote oversteer? i was thinkin some anti-sway bars, but is there anything else? thanks!

Rear sway bar will help. Front sway bar will promote understeer. Also make sure your tires are properly inflated.

When you add a swaybar you reduce grip on that end of the car. So add a large one in the rear and that will increase understeer and promote over. Add a front and it will increase understeer and decrease oversteer.

did you have sport suspension to begin with? If not, I'd go for a huge 21mm rear swaybar (stock sport is 15mm) and upgrade to maybe an OEM sport front swaybar... you'd still see oversteer, but it'd handle like it was on rails. I have stock sport, and will only do my rear swaybar -- i'm much more comfortable with oversteer, than understeer... due to my several previous RWD cars.
