Default Regrounding under hood?

I have a friend that works at a car stereo installation place. He told me that someone there has reground their entire engine compartment to a common ground using 4 gauge wire. After doing this they claim to have 10 - 15 more horsepower. Has anyone heard this, is it possible this works?

Now why would you say I was gay if I am trying to disprove something someone told me. I just dont see how regrounding everything is going to give more HP. Guess you are not a nice person, sorry I forced you to click on the post and read my gayness.

I think it can give about 2-3 lost hp if the car is old and the wires are all messed up.

That definitely sounds sketchy to me...but they do make electric fan kits that are supposed to keep you from losing power when certain features are turned on. For instance, I believe you can lose up to like 5hp when the air conditioning is on. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know how grounding your ride would get this kind of lose back though..

I just wanted to prove that it was not going to give that HP back. I understand that the lights wont dim now when other things are one. But the more HP. Not buying it. Thought I would give you all a chance to give your 2 cents also.
