Having trouble with locking and unlocking my A4TQ (B6) via remote keyfob, have tried both keyfobs and replaced batteries. Have try to reset keyfobs as explained in Manual, by pressing one of the buttons then inserting key in door lock and either lock or unlock car.
I am able to lock and unlock via Key in Drivers door lock. When locking via key it deadlocks the car but drivers door LED never lights, also when locking via key and leaving drivers door window open, the key never closes the window. I have also left a window open locked the car left it for five minutes and returned, turned on the interior light which I believe should set off the Alarm but the Alarm does not sound.
Can anyone give me an idea if they have had these problems as the car has just gone out of it 3 year warranty, or any idea with the alarm module/ Remote locking module is located on a B6 A4.
