removing dealer decal
My husband owns a sign sop, and has personally removed a dealer decal for me off a car previously. In the sign shop business, you remove a lot of vinyl and adhesive.
He suggests NOT using lighter fluid as it may damage the clear coat. He removed mine with Goof Off, and there was absolutely no damage.

i did this without any damage
use a hair dryer (i didnt have to.. im in FL)
use dental floss and carefully remove it, sometimes it will peel off without leaving any residue, but most cases it wont.
then use bug remover, one that says it is clear coat safe, and polish....
its easy
