... I think driving a car off a cliff is a little extreme... haha, but I am also opposed to the hole drilling.

wow.. what the think?? for those of you which don't understand what sarcasm is let me explain it to you. "sarcasm" is witty language used to convey insults or scorn. so you see i was "making fun" of "luvin_the_rings" for telling me to drill a hole in my intercooler.

Has anyone converted to the dual side intercooler set up? I like the stock look as opposed to the front mount. Also has anyone gone with the single side mount upgrade I have seen a few places selling?

I'm talking B6, the kits are billed as bolt on.

i kno some models have a little fitting at the bottom which you can unscrew, maby if u ran ur car a bit with that off, the boost might blow all the oil out, or maby u drill a hole, then fill it back up with sillicone or something?
As a mechanic i heard a lot of "ideas" from some owners and this one is definatelly make in it onto the "that was a stupid idea" list...
now if we could get someone to start "The Idea Of the Month" award

BTW if your gonna do that make sure you hook up the intercooler inlet pipe to a fire hose that way you can flush it out quick [sm=yikesomg.gif]
