can anyone give me feedback on why the Remus Cat-Back System is so CHEAP!!! does anyone have this on there car or seen one in person. the reason i ask is i didn't really want a cat-back on my car but for $300.00 i figured why the hell not...right?

 

i have a b5, and i've never heard of a cat back for it...

all remus makes for my car are mufflers... they sound sick, but its only mufflers...

 

My understanding of the remus for 300 is it is only the rear section (muffler) not the entire catback. Correct me if I am wrong and I hope I am wrong because I drove an M3 with a remus and the sound was awesome. I still remember that sound and its been two years. Where did you see one for $300?

 

I think he's talking about the guy in the classified's with like 4 posts, and 6 or 7 systems to sell.

 

yeah i saw it on the classified section, but i also have been seeing all day long on ebay and i've been real curious about it.

 

I was interested because Remus is a good brand but i dont trust anyone selling them for less than half price.

Plus the guy on here just started an account to post the classified and wouldn't respond to my emails when i asked him if he was a dealer. Then a few of us made comments about him being a possible scammer and he had no response to it other than making a new post.

How much are they going for on ebay?

Bottom line is there is no dealer or wholesaler that could ever make a profit by selling that system at that price. Which only leaves 1 other option which im giving them the benefit of the doubt here. He was driving down the road and seen 6 large boxs fall off the back of a truck. Which would make one wonder what kind of person they are!

 

It probably is, he has no previous sells.. Its like he started various accounts to sell Remus exhaust... wtf.

I wouldn't trust it.

 

so i guess the question is--- buy 0ne for $300 and not get one?[:@] or buy one for $600 and be happy
