my remus exhuast finally came in after spending $320 on it on ebay. The title of the exhaust said it was a "universal muffler" and it fits all cars including audi a4 96-99. I bring it to be installed and after about 10 mintues they come back to me and said the muffler could not fit. I look under my car to see the set up, and it could not fit. So im bullsh*t. Is there anything that i could use that will fit in my car?
PS- i sent an email about returning the item. I hope i can

Yah universal does not mean universal on Ebay...

do you want to make it fit or to buy another setup?

 

ya i know im a moron, but i would like to try to install the muffler i got now. I will probably go somehwere else for a second opinon.

 

that doesnt mean your a moron. it is an actual remus muffler? is it powered coated black with a silver fox head on the muffler? get a muffler shop to cut the pipe before the muffler and bend a piece till you can get it to fit

 

yes it is an actualy remus muffler, it has the decals on the pipes and the black coating. Only thing, if i make them bend it to fit my car, wouldnt it take away from the horsepower because the air cant flow as freely?

 

like you would lose like 0.15 horsepower. ok would you gain more hp by using the remus exhaust wit ha small bend or would you get more horsepower from your stock exhuast system. plus the remus exhaust system for the A4 is like 1200 dollars
