I never take her into the shop to get any work done unless it's something i can't do. I took her in to get my tires balanced at this local outfit, CJ Tires, i figured they should be able to balance these without a problem. car seemed ok. got this done on monday. last night i went to take of the front wheels to change my brake pads, and wouldn't you know it, they cross threaded 2 lugs all the way into the hub on the front drivers side. boy was i pissed, a monkey could be trained to pull wheels on and off properly, WTF! I hate taking stuff to mechanics, no offense to anyone here who is one, but there are just so many careless ones out there, something this simple has now turned into a fiasco. one of the hub threads is totally jacked, they are going to cover it, already spoke to them. kinda funny, there mission statement on the wall on the second line states, "we do the job right the first time, to save our customer's time" anyway needed to vent. not as severe as tom's post.
