my car recently had the check engine light turn on and flash and then turned off right after. so i hooked it up to the computer and it said cylinder two miss fire, i amagined this was due to a spark problem so i replaced the spark plugs (due anyways) and now am going to replace the coil pack. i have never replaced one of these before so i was just wondering if i could get some help steps or advise on how to do this. thanks and happy 4th

Yeah my dad keeps a spare one in his trunk... haha he's changed two of them on the side of the road using nothing but a dime to get the engine cover off. B6's they aren't bolted down... my 2000 has them bolted in with 5mm allen bolts. Still, ridiculously easy.
RE: replacing cylinder 2 coil pack
Before you change the coil pack. move it to another cyl and see if the misfire follows.
You don't say what car you have but there are a number of Audi's with Faulty ignititon modules that fail on coil 2 due to bad soldering job at the factory.
