Default Replacing front bumer (perhaps with a kit) and weird headlight problem...

Alright so several months ago I'm walking to my car in the parking lot and I notice that my front bumper wasn't seated right, and had a small crack around one of the fog lights, I later lost the plastic grill part that goes around the foglight and I'm guessing the whole bumper needs to be replaced. I figure this would be an ample opportunity to just but a nice kit on, however I know nothing about body kits...

1) How much work do they involve (on my part)? And generally how much do they cost?
2) Would it be unusual for me to JUST do the front bumper?
3) Are there any suitable body kits for snow driving (I need to preserve my clearence but could afford to sacrifice an inch or so, if that's reasonable)

Now onto my weird headlight problem (never heard of anything like it), randomly my brights won't work. They'll turn on if I pull the headlight switch (this is all while the normal lights are on) towards me, but once I lock it forward for them to be on permanently they don't work... I'm assuming this is some kind of wiring problem with the actual switch rather than a fuse or with the lights themselves, am I correct? Should I just take it to Audi.

Let me know, thanks.

you can get abs plastic which is durable because it will give if there is an impact but its expensive or you can get fiberglass which is cheap but will break if its bumped.

cheap fiberglass
