Hi I have a 110bhp 1.9 TDI
Is it normal for this model to only rev up to 3000rpm.
If its not normal, i.e. should rev more, what is the likely cause and how do I fix it.
The car seems very flat although the engine seems to be in good condition
and the Turbo seems to be working.

If I were you I'd take it somewhere and see if your computer has stored any error codes. Have you noticed your check engine light on, or anything popping up in the data screen when you first start the car?

The oil levels are fine and I dont get anything popping up on the data screen when I first fire the car up.
I recently (last month) purchased a new key for the car and the Audi dealer put the car through the computer,
the computer did not find any electrical faults, so the service manager suggested it may be a mechanical fault.
