If you don't get the engine to run smoothly on NGK BKR6E plugs, gapped 0.028 - 0.032, then you have even bigger problems. While at Autozone, check your codes that came up when the CEL came on. Those Pulstar plugs that we advised against may have messed upyour coilpacks, wiring, or other electrical components/ECU/Sensors... thatmake your car runcorrectly. Next time listen to and followgood advice when you ask if you should buy something ordo something stupid toyour car.Don't even ask mewhat Ithink about a huge trunk spoiler off a WRX for your A4.

Oh as soon as I swapped in the stock plugs the CEL turned off. Im waiting for the engine to cool down before I install the bkr6e's

i change them every other oil change, some people do it every oil change. copper doesn't last as long as platinum but they work better. and if you get the f6dtc's next time those last me ~20k miles

you need to stick with copper plugs. They work the best. Dont last the longest, but who cares. At $8/set, its not all that bad changing them at 20k intervals if not sooner.
They work best for turbo cars because copper has huge heat capacity, which means they're less prone to overheat when the hot air from the turbo rushes past them. Cheap, efficient, and very turbo-friendly, I'm surprised that they're so cheap.

In the directions for the Pulstars it says that for engines with turbos to gap the plugs to .025. This is what I did. Can you tell me what I SHOULD gap them to?
