Now correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you just buy some sweet *** car (S4?) for that much dough?

It sort of reminds me of the kids that dump 50 grand into a civic just to get the performance of a Z06, but without the warranty.

um....post pics when you get it all together?

well there is some negotiation involved. The A4 is basically mine, but technically its my dads, i just have it for college. When I graduate, however, i get the car. My dad and I co-own a shop, so I will be doing all the work. I have a history of getting really bad grades (graduated high school with a 1.8 average) and i managed to get my parents so fed up with it that sometimes i can talk them into deals like parts for grades. Not to mention co-owning a shop right out of school should put some decent money in my wallet. Now i cant sell the car becasue its not mine, and im pretty sure that if i try to sell it after i graduate, then my dad will just take it back. SO in essence, it would be cheaper then buying an S4. 13000 vs 35000.

Thanks for your imput though.

No on the: Flik Wasps: Get something nicer and more original.
Rieger wing: 600$? Are you kidding me? Please don't spend your money this way.
Nology spark plug wires: waste of money.
all the police detection ****: Just get a Passport or a V1. The jammer is totally illegal. What even is the "Police Detection" Uniden thing? I'm curious, I've never heard of this.
B&M: You can save 50$ by buying a stratmosphere/ V$S/ Dieselgeeks short shifter that's just as good.

I'm sure that if you are smart, you can shop around and find some of the things on your list for cheaper than retail, either slightly used or on sale or in a group buy or something.

Did you budget for paint/fitting of your bodykit? That's the most expensive part.
The rest of it sounds good. Don't listen to Wilbur, your S/C'd 2.8 will have a more linear powerband and better reliability than an S4 at the same power level, plus it will be lighter and you will have made it.

The uniden thing is basically the thing in the 1st fast and the furious. Its a bad example, buts its all i can think of right now, its basically like a CB scanner, except it scans police frequencys so you know where they are, what they are doing etc... I've got too many tickets already (10) and really cant afford anymore. Is there any way they can tell you have a jammer? I mean if you mounted it like in your bumper or somewhere not visible, how could they tell? I plan on fitting/painting the kit myself, i have a paint booth and everything. I actually like the rieger wing, in my opinion its not very ricey, and flows with the car and kit good. Thanks for the shifter info

Once again thanks for the input.

Unless you're having a huge street racing meet, CB's don't do you any good.

Cops know if you have a jammer, that's just what it does, it JAMS the signal so that when they shoot the gun at you the gun doesn't give them a reading. If they don't get your speed, they can't legally pull you over, but if you're driving recklessly (crazy lane changes, etc.) they'll nail your *** for that and then fine you heavily for the jammer because at that point they know you have it. Also, they can still pace you with a jammer, so jammers to me are really quite pointless.

As for having 10 tickets, I don't know if having a fast car would be in your best interests...

The pes s/c is by far the best mod u have listed. Some of the others are a waste.
