Default Revo questions

Ok so I just recently got flashed with the stage 1 revo software. It pulls like **** in first and second, but then as soon as I hit third it softens out and i don't feel much go at all. Same with fourth and fifth gears. Could this possibly be a boost leak of some sort or maybe thats just how it is, I just don't know. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks

Oh and is the revo software adaptive, will it change as i drive it a little more sense it only has about 50 miles on it so far?

well, to know for sure you need a boost gauge to see what your boosting at.

with my GIAC chip, 1st and 2nd are very strong, but the power dies off in 3rd so I'm going to say what your experiencing is normal.

could be n75, you could try getting the race version from 034. it wouldn't be a boost leak if first and second are pulling strong. and what spring are your using in your 007?

Check the spring inside your 007... you should be using a yellow one. The green one is for stock settings.

No it has nothing to do with the spring in the diverter valve, that would effect power in all gears.
What you're experincing is the extent of the K03's output, once you get to a certain RPM or load on the engine the turbo will fall flat on its face. If you don't believe me, put it on a dyno and look at the graph.

the green allows you to spike higher but boost isn't as smooth. yellow doesn't allow you to spike as high but the boost is less spikey. the same spring doesn't work for all applications. thats why forge gave the option

I have revo and I know what your talking about but I think most software that runs on a k03 will feel like that. First and second pull like crazy(relatively speaking) and 3rd-5th don't feel anywhere as powerful but thats because the k03 is about as useful as an asmatic trying to blow out a house fire.

It's generally pully in the low gears but not in the higher gears..on a4's it's installed on. And yes it is adaptive, it will be adapt fully after about 10 turns of the key..
