about $50,000. I actually got pwned by an M3 today, too. I was turning right, and I turned into the far lane, and the M3 behind me went near, and he just destroyed me. It was like I was standing still.

 

Still no m3 encounters for me...hopefully soon though

anyone see the new top gear with the M5. It has a M button that when u push it gives u liek 100 more hp. Its like a sport mode and everything is changed. The normal way is just at 400 hp so its fast but i guess they found that the people who buy the cars dont always need the pwoer. Haha they need teh V-10 in the M3 now. I wanna see teh M6 too.

According to most car mags and forum consenus, an e46 (6 cyl 333hp) will take a b6 s4 from a rolling start. From a standing start it would be very close...and really come down to driver skill. On the track the M3 should have the upperhand, but I have seen a side by side comparision where the s4 was slightly quicker on the track. But again, it would come down to driver skill.

The e90 M3 is scheduled for 2007 model year to come out in late 2006...v8 engine with over 400hp....
