Default THIS IS RIM/TIRE COMEDY!!!

I never thought there could be anymore problems. The tire place called me on tuesday and told me to come on down, my rims were mounted, balanced, and I would be in and out of there in twenty minutes. I go down there, and everything is going well. I pulled my car up to one of the lifts and I went inside to get the payment squared away. There was an incredibly long line of people (like 10 people or so), so, by the time I finished, my car had been pulled over to the side of the garage so that other people had been helped. THE WHEELS WERE ON MY CAR! I walk over to my car, and look at one of the front wheels. The tire was completely flat. I brought it to their attention. After awhile, the technician walked over to me and told me. There was a STRESS CRACK on the lip of one of my FORGED wheels. So, here I am. I've waited almost half a year, and now the place is supposedly in the process of rushing me another wheel. wishful thinking. Personally, this is beyond stupid. Now it's just getting funny.

Three words, Better Business Bureau. That sucks, I hope they are giving you some type of discount. At this point I would just ask for the money back.

is it even possible to have a place make a wheel, polish it, assemble it, and send it out within a week?

wow -

considering how patient youve been - I'd be talking to the manager
of the wheel shop & asking for big time discount bec. of the hassle & inconvenience...

no way in hell I'd wait 6 months for anything, let alone a set of wheels. I ditched the idea of the black TSW montage wheels because there was a 1-3 month backorder heh. Ended up with the oettys instead so it all worked out.

if they were new rims then you have a case with the supplier and they should foot the bill to save face

Haha except for the fact that they forgot to tighten the wheel lugs so your wheel fell off driving . In the end it did all work out tho...
