if i throw some 18 on my a4 how much should i lower the car to make it look great but not slammed all the wayor let me put it like this how low can i make it b4 i have to get a camber kit and does anyone make a camber kit for the 96 FWD 12V 2.8 audi a4

you won't need a camber kit unless you slam your car so low that it wouln't be driveable.

im going 40mm on my b5 with 19s, should put the guard almost inline with the top of the tyre at the back and about 1cm higher than the top of the tyre at the front

may run into some rubbing with 19's.

19s fit a treat (235\35) plenty of room at the back due to the audi innner guard going almost vertical. not sure at the front yet though.as long as the wheel cambers in when the suspension compresses, i think it will be ok as the strut assembly is already on an angle.

do you need a camber kit if you do a 1.5 drop on a 98 a4 with the factory struts using hr lowering springs

Do not use factory struts with lowering springs. They will die within 6 months and you'll be replacing them and paying for a second alignment. Like I said before, no camber kit needed!
