Default rims problem

Hi everyone.

I want to buy new rims for my audi b6 2005 s-line.

I have couple questions :

1) What are good all season tires ?
2) What size would be the best for 18x8
3) What size would be the best for 18 x 8.5
4) Whats better 8.5 or 8

Which rims would you pick ?

Rims :

Thanks for help

Pick you own wheels - I like the BBS look. Good all season tires - I have Yokahama Avid H4S tires - I like in Fargo ND and these things are killer during the summer and exellent in snow and ice. As for 8-8.5 no idea there.

Ok thanks.

What about size ?

What would be optimal size for 18x8 and 18x8.5 ?

And whats better 8.5 or 8 ?

They all look alike. Seems that your after the "mesh" look. I'd go for price on this since there's not much choice on the design. My choice would be 18 x 8.5 so it's wider, it would fill in the fender flares better. I have a set of 18" Kumhos AST all season, they're not but for the $$. If price isn't an issue, go for the Yokohamas or Pirellis...

Go to Discount Tires Direct or one of the other web tire stores-they have charts to tell you what works

There comes a point when low profile tires become so thin they're detrimental to suspension performance and roadholding. 18" is about the largest I'd go on a B6. Unless of course you don't care about performance and are only after looks. If that's the case, then more power to you.

Pirelli, by the way.
