hey everyone, i just got in a accident today which pretty much slammed the right end of my 99.5 a4 1.8t and i am just pretty bummed out. i have like become emotionally attached to this car and its tough to see it go. Some old guy just turned in front of me (making a left turn) on a busy intersection where cars go like 35-40.. tried to tell the cops i was going 80-90.. and that i "spun his car." Just bullshit. He got a ticket, and even though it wasnt my fault its like im missing half of my body.. this just overall sucks. i know i am venting in a way but you guys in here are probably the only ones who know what this feels like. Just sucks. any accident sucks, ive been in many before but this hurts the most psychologically. It's like you have a supermodel girlfriend, and some old geezer just takes her away from you and then kills her.


just sucks. but anyway.. im going to be looking around for a new a4 or s4.

Sorry to hear about you car At least you was not hurt or injured but emotions can be healed get ur self a new car and hopefully you can let it go but yea old people suk and try to post some pics of the car so we can all mourn. anyway be safe

That sucks at least you were not hurt. Get a new B7 A4 and you will be more happy then before. Did you have any mods on the car?

 

I feel your pain bro, I lost my a4 about a month ago... only difference is it was my fault. Definatly sucks, but you will find another one eventually (atleast that is what I am told) so for now just be happy that you are ok.

 

holy **** that old man is a bad liar. i mean if he knew u were going that fast y did he turn? i hope evrything goes smooth for u. the same thing happened to my friend one time but he drives a durango and basically ran over the other car. the chick made a u turn on a red light, wut a dumb@$$. so wut year a4 or s4 u looking for?

 

Geeze man i feel your pain i just lost a car like that some chick turned otu infront of me while it was raining in a busy road was going bout 50 in a 55 and i tried to stop but with the rain and no abs brakes ijust slid into her. insurence is still debating who's fault it was the worst part is she might not have insurence i did well with my car thow made 2grand on it now i got the A4 and i see what u mean i only been driving it for abotu 2 weeks now and i love it im sorry for your lost man you will be back and in another audi soon enough

yeah i know. it's straight bullshit. what can you do you know. Cop told the guy "if he was going 80, ther would be skid marks on the road" and that he saw no skid marks whatsoever. the guy's daughter seemed pissed off at me (she came seperate car to pick him up). she was trying to convince me that I WAS going too fast. "You were going a little fast huh." **** that ****. I told her i was going speed limit and this guy just turned in front of me. that's my story, it's how it happened, you can believe or make up w/e the hell you want.

i think the guy thought i was going to stop, cause i did slow down, and pretty much tried to make a quick left turn while i was going.. just crazy. I can clearly remember me just thinking "oh ****, im about to hit this guy. " then BANG.
