Tom and i talking about throwing in a roll cage for next tracking season/stiff things up. Does anyone know where you can buy full pre fab ones?

 

dont know about the prefabbed ones.. But why dont you guys just build one? are you trying to get one that will pass SCCA inspection? or just one that will provide stiffness with a little bit of safety?

I think I will build mine, I want one that I can attach a harness to, but I'd like to see some pics so I can see some safe designs

Were just looking to aid some type of protection and stiffen them up. I am putting toms car on a diet aswell, hes pretty excited about it. Anyway, how do you order on that site, or find out how much they cost?




I dunno, that last one looks kinda overkill. I might just biuld mine aswell. I only want a rear cage.

and did you guys see the slideshow of a STI rally car being built? I think Toff posted it up a while ago.. it kinda showed how detailed a roll cage can be.. and how hard it looks to make a full out race one

because if you only wanted something that simple... it would def be easier to build it yourself.. that way you know its going to fit.. and built to fit your car
