Default which rotors to replace in brake vibration?

alright, which ones, the rears or fronts? I get the vibration when i brake or should i just do the whole thing?

Also, on the new rotors that i buy, will likely buy it from getcoolparts.com, is it just a simpel replacment -> take out old rotor, replace with new one or is there some secondary operation that i need to do as well?

thanks,
Fritz

Replace the ones that are vibrating.

Are you sure that's your problem though? Vibration could also be suspension related. Does it do it everytime you brake, from any speed?
Do you feel it in the pedal, or just feel the car shaking? Suspension/tires/brakes could cause vibration.
Give a little more info, maybe we can help figure it out. Likely its probably the front brakes, rather than the rear, as they get used/worn a lot faster than the rears.
If they do need replaced, its a good excuse to upgrade to some cross-drilleds instead of stock.

Might as well jsut do it all around cross drilled rotors and nice low dust pads. And if that doesnt do it, new suspension.

the rotors are simple to replace. the only thing that takes a while to figure out your first time is the pressure clip that holds the brake pad. you haaaaave to force it in. i would say start with the front but if you have the billllz might as well do all around. fyi: cheap drilled and/or slotted rotors are crazyy loud and annoying when you go from like 80 to 0 say from the freeway to the offramp. its a horrible noise its almost embarresssing when you got ppl in the car.

Forthree hun you can get all four from ecs tuning.
169 for the fronts, 129 for the rears.
Add 2 sets of pads and put them on yourself, you'll be set.

so im going for the upgraded rotors, do i need to upgrade the type of pads i use or calipers or is it just a simple swap?

to answer the earlier question, the car shakes when i apply the brakes, not termendously but some feedback is felt.

if the car shakes when you apply the brakes you might have warped rotors.
