rough idlle at low rpms
Hi
I did a search on audi and vw forums about this, i just want to ask if there is anything else I should check.
My car (99 VW 1.8T) has a rough idlle on low rpms (on neutral the worse is around 1100 rpms, when shiftingin gears at around 1500-2000 rpms) and check engine is ON
The problem started five days ago, then two days later when I started the car to check with a Vag Com tool the problem disapeared. The reading was:
VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N
Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 557 P
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D04
Software Coding: 06001
Work Shop Code: WSC 05311
2 Faults Found:
17708 - Misfire Detected. Probably Reason: Low Fuel
P1300 - 35-00 - -
17708 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1300 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
I cleared the code and the car was ok only for a day than the same symptomscame back.
From what I have read the posible problems might be spark plugs, coil packs, throtlle body, vacuum lines. I inspected the vacuum lines, changed the spark plugs, cleaned the throtlle body, the problem is still there. Except for coil pack is theresomething else I should check?
Thank you for your input.

You need to clean your injectors sounds like, get fuel injector cleaner in there and see if that helps out, you can also try checking your plugs and CP, if you are running lean you can fowl the plugs and your jsut gonna keep having the same issue. You may also want to change your Fuel filter to so you know what you have good pressure from the gas lines
