i was thinking on my way home today. you could totally just plug the front axle output shafts and have a completely rear wheel drive car. hmmmm. any other idea's. or is this even possible. im still pretty new to the engineering of the audi A4.

we made my buddy's eclipse gsx front wheel only and then back to awd. but of course those cars came either way. so i was just thinking this would probably work.

 

tapp auto did it but it was total custom. there is alot of other stuff you would have to do becuase your quattro would go crazy

 

oh yeah thats right. i forgot about how computerized this car is. im too used to old school imports

 

but you can get a different center differential that can do more like a 40/60 or 30/70 split

 

take ur car off like one of those model cars and reverse teh body on the chasis :P

 

**** i havent seen a car with a full frame in years. i wish the body would just come off like that. haha. that center diff is a good idea. im thinking more for getting crazy around turns. although with this freakin stupid movie coming out and all that hype i might just hide in a corner till drifting dies down again.

haha yeah - get a FWD car and turn the body around - this way u can go in reverse at 80+ miles per hour :P and forward at like 30

 

Actually I live about 15 min away from TAPP. When you go and use their Dyno, they actually convert your car to RWD. Any custom tuning they do, they convert the car over.

so is quattro completly 50/50 drive?
