Ok so i was wondering, would my audi 1.8t fwd with a neuspeed
chip, apr exhaust, evo intake and neuspeed intake pipe, and other
not important mods be enough to beat a stock rx8??
any one have any other experiences with g35's? etc

 

i dunno man the neuspeed chip is kinda weak so its hard to tell

 

i drove my friend's rx8....... it's got no torque at all, but for a moded 1.8...... that's a tuffy

 

i run 16 psi, what more can i expect from a chip?

 

Mazda RX-8 does a qrt mile in 15.1 in 92.8mph
and that engine has no high end power and its torquless so u might beat that
but for the G35 its has a monster engines so u'll get owned by that

 

Ok so, rx8 has no torque and no top end, so what does it have
that makes it do the qtr in 15? plus why does my neuspeed chip
suck? whats wrong with 16 psi, my car seems faster then my dads
g35 sedan but i could be wrong.

 

i vote you go rape that rx-8's butt, and if you cant, get a k04 and a FMIC and try again lol

 

they dont have torque but if its the high power edition, they run to 10,000 rpm and get up and go pretty damn good, not to mention they are a lot lighter, and also handle very well... i drove my friends several times and he would smoke me in a straight line

 

What Papa said is right, a rotary relies on it's ability to get trhough the RPM range quick. Back before VW's i owned a 280 horse 1st gen RX with no torgue and with the right launch, was able to click off mid to high 13's

 

I run GIAC and spike 20 or 21 and hold 18-19
