Default S4 to A4 Suspension?

Hey guys,

I'm looking at changing my shocks and springs out of my 96 B5. I don't have a whole lot to spend on coilover and still debating on wether to spend almost a grand on koni/eiback springs.

I saw a guy selling a 2001 S4 Avant for $200 with 35K. I'm wondering if this would work on my B5 2.8Q and how is the ride quality going to be like? Any comments or feedbacks greatly appreciated.

First off you should not use Avant stuff on a sedan as it will jack the back up.

Next the S4 springs will also jack your car up not much but it will defeat the object of what you want to do.

The only thing you could use is the Shocks as an upgrade mated up with a set of lowing springs to give you what you want on the cheap.
