just got some used s4 front and rear rotors with the front s4 calipers for 70 bucks! They had 25k miles on them not bad. I want to put them on my b5 a4, what else do i need for the conversion. the brakes came from a b5s4. The front rotor and calipers are huge! yaaaay! I heard i need the mounting bracket, but what else and where to buy.

The carriers would be the important part. Most would of just got TT carriers and along with a8 rotors to use with their stock calipers.

Are the B5 S4 still single calapers? If so, are they atleast larger?

 

the fronts yes are single calipers, but are dual piston, they look twice the size as my stockers.

 

You'll need bigger discs if I am not mistaken.

 

i already have the s4 rotors, what carrier do i need to use the s4 calipers in the front?

 

I thought the s4 caliper couldn't go on the b5 a4. Get the caliper carrier and see if the holes line up.

why cnt u mount the caliper on if you have the correct carrier, does any one one what carrier to use?

 

Because the A4 legs mounting position is different and you will need the S4 Hubs to mount them thats why not many people do the conversion.
