I just got an S4 bumper last weekend and i tried to install it. I got a 98 A4, i took off the bumper and the whole thing comes off, the S4 bumper i got is fiberglass from Vfiber and it has no reinforcement, do i have to drill the rivets off the stock and place the actual metal bumper on then screw the fiberglass one over? how did you guys do it for you guys that had same problem? im new here so help me out!

 

you can either use the old reinforcement, or go the the dealership and pick up a new one

 

where did you get this bumper again? any link? hopefuly you are not one of those guys that just register to ask one question and then never come back til you have another one

 

I got it off Ebay, its a V-Fiber, its just the fiberglass with no reinforcement. so should i just take the original reinforcement off and mount it on the car then set the bumper on and screw it on to the reinforcement and maybe by fender area? well see, i think ill be pretty hooked on this, im finding a lot of interesting things i should know so of course ill come back. im reading what i can since im at work.

For those of you who have done this mod, did you also put some kind of pad or anything between reinforcement and fiberglass bumper? I need some tips from anybody out there i will probably install it this weekend.
