Default S4 Clutch kit or Southbend?

My clutch is on the outs and I'm trying to decide between a Spec Stage 2+, a Southbend OFE SS, or a S4 clutch kit from ECS. Price is about the same for all three, but any reasons to choose one over the other? I've read about certain issues with Spec, but they do need to be broken in properly. Right now I'm leaning towards a S4 or RS4 clutch.

Thanks,

I know all clutches need to be broken in properly, but I'm told the Spec is fussier in that regard. The ECS kits come with either a steel or aluminum flywheel. I'd opt for the steel in my case.

So any opinion of the S4 clutch on a B6 A4 (or RS4 for that matter)? I don't see taking it any further than 300 bhp.

Here are the prices I was quoted from the local shops (excluding labor of course):

Spec:
Stage 2+ w/ new OEM stock flywheel - $1254.99
Stage 2+ w/ Steel Lightened / balance flywheel - $978.99

Southbend OFE SS:
Stage 3 w/ new OEM stock flywheel - $1100

ECS Clutch kits:
Stage 1 (OE S4) - $1049
Stage 2 (OE RS4) - $1249

Labor should be between $600 and $750.

That was my feeling as well, but if I'd get more from the Spec or Southbend I wanted to know so I can make the right decision.

Thanks,
