Default s4 interior

currently have 1.8t audi 98' just wondering i am thinking of buying the new s4 front recaros from a friends who runs a salvage business and just wondered if any of you guys have had any expeirance in changing the standard seats like will i need new sub frames to SAFELY fit the seats. i have kids so safety is priority lol thanks

not sure about B5 to the new style. But if you don't have power seats and the S4 does, thats a problem.

Why not get Recaros that retrofit your '98 directly?

I realize that... I was wondering if Recaro has something similar that retrofits your model.

Secondly, why not just call Recaro on this and see what they say?

yeah i have a quick look at the online catalogue but nothing of any interest really i,ll take ur advice and phone then if that fails guess i go to audi and see what they have to say about it

I have heard the new B6 recaros are wider and do not support as well laterally. Of course this depends on how big a person you are. But if the S4 B5 seats fit you well, then the B6 seats you may find not "close" enough.
