Default s4 to rs4

Ok, this one is abit of a tall order... I am going to buy a 2004+ s4 in roughly 12 months, I have researched high and low on the new rs4 and can't find anything thing that says it isnt NA or a different displacement. If I were to buy the rs4 rods/pistons/crank/etc would I be able to install them to jump from 340 to 418? Any advice you have would be appreciated, I am very determined to make this work so labor isn't really a concern unless you are talking major frame/drivtrain overhaul (150+ hrs). Thank you..

i wouldnt imagine that stuff isnt interchangeable, due to the fact that they are 2 totally different displacements.

According to www.rsportscars.com and the many other sites I've checked the stats are as follows;

S4- Type: V8
Displacement cu in (cc): 250 (4163)
Power bhp (kW) at RPM: 340(251) / 7000
Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 303(410) / 3500

RS4- Type: V8
Displacement cu in (cc): 254 (4163)
Power bhp (kW) at RPM: 420(323) / 7800
Torque lb-ft (Nm) at RPM: 317(430) / 5500

Are my sources faulty or am I missing something? Again thanks for the help.
