Hey Guys,

I'm wondering if an B5 S4 suspension (springs and shocks) will fit onto a B5 a4 quattro?
I'm trying to find a cost effective suspension solution.

H&R spring/Bilstein shock combo would probably be most cost effective and it will be new. What is your price range?

 

yes it will fit but not reccomended remember the S4 has alot more weight up front with the 6 cyl so it really isnt the greatest to put on a 1.8 and it will also fit the 2.8 but still H&R's are the best way to go

I have a 2.8 quattro a4.
I have Eibach springs ready to be installed, but I can't swallow spending another 500 bills for shocks.
I'm not racing the car (just a daily driver), I just want to lower the wheel gap.

Still a good idea?

 

I don't think the S4 springs will get you any lower than stock sport springs....

 

no, buy some used springs that arent shot.

 

hes got springs already! he needs shocks.
