Default S4 vented wheel well liners on A4's

i heard from a couple of people that installing the S4's vented wheel well liner is a good (sorry i must have erased by accident in my first edit) adjustment to your A4 and i was wondering what you guys had to say about them pros and cons. the claim is that it will reduce the likelihood of overheating i guess that is in regards to the intercooler.

What do you mean, "...is a adjustment to your A4"?

Are you asking if it's a pain to do the mod or if it's a good mod to do overall?

Pro: Cooler intercooler
Con: MAYBE unwated debris thrown at the intercooler, kinda like the ac condensor in the front of the car, bent damaged fins.

Im sure you wont see a perforamnce increase at all. If the s4's have the vented wheel well liners right from the factory what difference would it make if we put one on our A4, same location of the intercooler. The stealership sells the s4 wheel well liner for around $40. Or you could make your own which is very easy, i just did mine last night, ill post pics as soon as i can take em and post them. Otherwise look at this site, this is where i got the idea. http://www.europeanspeed.com look at the bottom of the page and you will see it.

i'm not sure what you mean by debris thrown at the intercooler do you mean stuff from outside the car will come in from the wheel well through the fins like water or something else.

I haven't verified yet but i'm pretty sure clairparts.dom is selling it for less actually they sell alot of audi oem stuff for less. i'm not sure what policy around here is for plugging but i have to saw that the guys at clair parts are above and beyond the guys you'll encounter at audi parts departments as far as the amount of time they spend to help you out.

Nope make no difference in intercooler temperature. Doose and i did this together and his little info deally reported a minimal change in intake temp like less than a degree.
