S4 vs. A4 1.8T
Last week I posted a question about 12 sec A4 (1.8T), and I get all the needed answers. But I have other questions as well. I was doing a lot of reading here, and I just can’t decide if I want to get A4 1.8t or S4. I can get nice a4 with 70k miles for less than $5 (my friend is a dealer), and the put $5k to mod it. OR purchase S4 and do the chip and exhaust. From what I read both cars should be similarly fast.
And here is my question. What the main differences between a4 and s4 as for the suspension, brakes, transmission and build quality. Are the S4 really worth that additional $$ that you have to pay for them, over a regular A4???

It all depends what your plans are for the car, a car that is cheap to mod then id go for the a4, s4 is not a light car at all 3700lbs, chip exhaust and your what mid to high 13s. Build quality the s4>a4, by far, but things like suspension brakes, clutch, turbos or the engine in general people tend to mod them anyways. What im getting at is if you want a fast car for cheaper then the a4 is the way to go, looks similar still looks awsome. The s4 if you wanna spend lots of $$$ to make fast but looks way better. I felt like selling my car so many times to get an s4 but im realizing that with the goal that i have would be 10k+ in mods to get a low 12 sec car. I wanna get an evo or sti and do some nice mods and keep the a4.

What is 75n dv? Is that better than a 710n?
