Ok heres my dilema...

My favorite Audi wheels are by far the S4 wheels.. i love the way they look on lowered B5s .. which is what i have.. i have a black B5.. and i want an all dark look.. windows to be darkened out soon.. and i want to compliment the dark look with some gloss black rims.. but to be honest.. other than the Flik Justic in gloss black.. i have yet to find a wheel that i like for the Audis in a gloss black ..

so i was thinking i could combine the best of both worlds.. and get some S4 replicas and have them powdercoated in a gloss black finish.. with all the researching on this board and audizine.. i have yet to find pics of black S4 wheels.. maybe they are out there but ive never seen anyone do this...

i know some will say that it will make it look cheep/cheesy.. but i think that the design of the S4 wheel might look pretty bad *** on an all black car when powdercoated black ..

I myself would go a flat black over a gloss black that gloss will look to bling bling in my opinion

 

leave them the way the are ive seen black s4 wheels and they didnt look that great at all.

 

orrr just get the b7 reps and call it a day.

 

that's a negative on the powercoating

 

damn someone voted i suck.. lol .. i really love the look of the S4 wheel.. but i want an all black wheel.. [sm=sigh.gif] ... so confused.. im gonna go cry now

 

I have a black car, and I plan on getting black or powdercoated wheels soon. I think that if you took your time and did a good job, painting them black would look really good. One issue is that you might find yourself repainting the wheels every now and then. With all of the dirt and rocks kicked up that low to the ground, you might find gouges or scrapes in them that are much more noticeable on the black then they would be on the silver color they are now.

 

also depending on weather, if its harsh winters where you live, you probably won't wanna do the powdercoating thing. but if not go for it, or if you get winter wheels obviously.

i would actually want to see how it comes out. i have s4 reps and was thinking about geting them done.
