S6 LED foglights, finally UPDATED WITH DIY PICTURE
ORIGINAL: klum00

...the light output isnt that great, probably pretty minimal its more just for looks. I cant get you a picture ofjust them on, because Icant find a way to easily do the independant fog light mod since the 96's dont have the relay that can easly be changed.

Good work, i definitely know it takes time when working with LEDs because I did this a few months ago with a different set and hated how it looked. I probably only have about 20 LEDs on each side so not nearly as bright as yours. You can definitely do this to an A6, the new S6s come with them thats where the idea came from.

the question i have for you is how did you wire them? did u keep the power supply block and that button on the wire still? or did u get them out and just run straight wires to a switch?
^ +1.
I know this post is a little old, but Im going to do this (hopefully). Is there a way to hook it up so that they light up only when you turn on the headlights? Like a terminal or something? Or what did you wire it to? Thanks

sorry guys for not posting this sooner, just wired them straight to my stock wiring harness. If you want them to come one with the parking lights split them into that wire for the power and then the ground you can basically do anywhere on the body of the car. I cut everything off of the lights, so basically it's just the LED strips with the 2 wires coming out, thats it. One wire is hot and the other is the ground, quite simple to wire to a switch as well, its really your call.
