Me and myself. For me i learn by mistake and trial and error its the best way to really experience having a car IMO. Ive done
Front control arms
Front and rear struts/shocks
Lowering spring install
Front and rear rotor and pad
Caliper replacement
Headlight rewiring
timing belt change
Just to name a couple of them but its fun and once you do it once every time is cake.

They have a shop in Davis, CA. Thats the only shop i know thats close by you.
