You posted this in the "For Sale" section.... You should post your question in the stereo section.

moved...

the SAFE means your car lost power while the security feature was enabled on your radio. You will need the 4 digit code to enter into the radio to get the functionality back. It should be stamped/written in your manual insert about your radio system.

The dealer can also look up your radio serial # and get your code for you - but be warned they will likely charge you to do this.

all you need to do is hold down either the RBDS and RANDOM button at the same time on your radio ( it is one set of the four buttons on the side) you may just need to play around and find the right two, im not for sure. anyway, you hold those down and it will pop up with a screen for you to enter the SAFE code on. you press the coresponding number under the screen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) as many times as you want the 0 to change. so if your code is 14000, then you get to the screen from above, and you press the number 1 button on your radio 1 time. Then, you press the 2 button on your radio 4 times to get the 4 in that spot. If that is complicated I will try to explain again better. This happened to my car all the time so i know how bad it sucks. after you get the code in, hold down the two buttons again that you started with and this should unlock your radio. let me know if you need anymore help
