So I've searched (be proud of the noob), and it looks like the general concensus is for the giac chip...

So then what? Looks like the DV is the next (or at the same time) step. Then what? And by the time I add an intake, exhaust, and cat, would I be better off just going with the giac k04 setup?

 

yes, the dv should be done at the same time..a full exhaust would be my next choice (don't forget, this is your car)...high flow cats, high flow muffler....intakes are tricky though...search the forums and you'll find alot of posts on intakes...look at peoples' sigs and see what they've got...fmics are always a good investment...turbo timers are great (for reliability i mean, you aren't going to get any power gains from a turbo timer, but it will save your turbo from damage)...

 

no if u get the GIAC and DV and exhuast it will help u with your future K04 set up
im sure GIAC will give u a discount on K04 progrmming if u have thier K03 programing

i say k04 it, but if u chip ur k03 giac will give u 200 refund for it when u want ur k04

 

K04 if you've got the extra money now. Chip if you need a little time to gather some additional funding. AWE gives you $200 off from the K04 kit if you already have a GIAC chip.
