seafoam leaking out through turbo gaskets.
i safoamed my car today, everything works perfect, the car idles nicely and it seems smoother all around, but while i was doing it, it was leaking seafoam from the turbo. This happened as i fed it into the vac line. Is this normal cus nothing seem wrong now.
i used the line in the front of the intake manifold, towards the front of the car, as for little at a time, oops i kinda just stuck the hose in the can and fed it half the can as fast as possible[sm=headbang.gif] it was nocking for 10 seconds or so then it stopped, i changed the oil right after so it should all be out.
oh god....you didnt seafoam your DV vac line did you....b/c if you put it in the vac line tht feels like cloth on the very front of the intake mani.....then you got seafoam IN your turbo....
no, i took of the diverter line and placed it aside, then i place another line whre the diverter lin normaly goes and fed it in there. it definitly wwent into the manifold.
welll...seafoam is supposed to clean out your carbon and crankcase....soo its normal for seafoam to smoke a little out the exhaust.....but when you say leaking out of the gasket...do you mean like white smoke?
