Default Seafoam Question(s)

I thought today would be a good day to finally seafoam my car. I found this diy here.
My question was, are there 2 steps or 3? do you put the seafoam in the crankcase by getting it sucked into the vac line or are the crankcase and the vac line completly seperate? Also, if they are seperate, can i just run the seafoam in my gas tank and in the vac line wihtout changing my oil? I just changed by oil a couple hundred miles ago and dont really want to have to get it changed again right now. I know the diy is on az but i was wonderig if someone could clear this up for me. thanks.

Yeah, you can skip the crankcase if you want, but you should remember to do it before your next oil change.

There are three steps: 1) Gast tank 2) Crankcase (just pour it in) 3) Intake (fed through vac line)

crankcase is through your oil... fuel system is through your gas tank... and intake sytem is done through the pcv valve... just unplug it from the valve cover and let it suck the seafoam out of a cup. there should be pretty detailed instructions on the seafoam can.

If you do the intake part plan on changing your spark plugs to. They will get all gross.

i was about to just do the gas tank seafoam but is it kinda pointless if i dont do the other three? i dont really mind changing the plugs right after cause i have new ones in my car waiting to be installed, and i guess if i do those two i should probably do the third one right?

Pretty much.

Or at least do the intake and gas tank.
