i saw a few threads praising the seat warmers in our cars....does anyone have sh!tty ones like me? first off, i don't know if this is normal, but only the bolsters of my seats warm up, not the centers...and they barely do any good. the regular heater already has the car warm by the time the seat warmers get to a decent temp (which is still pretty low, imo)...maybe there's something in the system that needs to be replaced?

 

That doesn't sound right? I use my seat warmers and barely use the heater. Mine get super warm.

 

mine must be broken....i didn't think that was the case though because they do work..somewhat. just barely though

 

I have to agree, my seats warm up fairly quick. Love mine.

 

Yeah I don't even use my heater. My seats warm up in 1 min. or less.

 

Mine feel like im laying on a skillet on 6.

 

I have on occasion feared scorching my buns on 6.

And yeah the regular heater sucks, I ran nothing but seat heater in Montana when the temp dropped to 14. That was on my trip the heck out of there.

 

anyone have any idea what i might need to replace to get them working well again? do they have some kind of heater core? what the hell do they use to get warm anyway?

There are def cars out there that have much better seat warmers than audi does, I dunno about the newer models of Audi's, but mine is a 99 and it is ok. Mine works in general, but I'm ALWAYS cold and usually keep mine on 6..... but they wont' hold the 6.... it's like, they'll be nice and hot for awhile, then they turn themselves off for a bit and it pisses me off. I want full heat all the time, I dont' know who it thinks it is that it decides when I want it to take a little break from heating up my @ss.

I have a crazy great-aunt who once told me that if you use seat warmers it causes mold to grow in your @ss cheeks..... i was just like "yah, ok..... i heard that too " psycho
